XYLOFON WASHER WHT is the solution for sound insulation which, together with XYLOFON, ensures the soundproofing of timber structures and houses.

It offers effective sound insulation where there are metal connections made with WHT hold-down angle brackets, a detail that it is fundamental to observe in seeking acoustic excellence in a wooden structure.

XYLOPHON WASHER WHT is the solution developed for mechanical desolidarisation of shear wood-wood junctions made with WHT angle brackets.

The reliability of XYLOFON WASHER WHT over time is ensured by the homogeneity of the polyurethane compound (80 shore), whose monolithic structure ensures watertightness and the absence of subsidence over time.

Extremely chemically stable and without deformations over time, it ensures durability without the function losing effectiveness.

Supply and installation of separating washer for WHT angle brackets, type XYLOFON WASHER WHT

Composition:

  • Polyurethane compound with stable monolithic structure and highly waterproof 80 shore. Product free of VOCs and harmful substances. High stability and deformation free in time.

  • Creep : < 0,5 %
  • Damping factor Tan : 0,134

Suitable for timber-to-steel profiles installation such as WHT and TITAN, thus avoiding the transmission of vibrations caused by impact sound. Position the profile on the lower section of the steel element and fasten it mechanically with HBS screw and steel washer. Release liner to be placed between the structure and the angle bracket such as WHT and TITAN to reduce vibration and noise transmission in the building.
