Accessibility of the Rothoblaas website
Our commitment
At Rothoblaas, we believe that digital accessibility is a fundamental right.
Our aim is to make the website accessible and usable for everyone, regardless of their ability, temporary condition or the technologies they use.
We are aware that achieving full accessibility is a continuous process, and we are actively working to improve the quality, usability and inclusivity of our digital content.
Reference standards
We are committed to ensuring compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, levels A and AA, internationally recognised as the technical standard of reference for web accessibility.
In addition, we are implementing best practices to comply with Italian and European regulations on digital accessibility, including:
Law 4/2004 (“Legge Stanca”)
AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) guidelines on the accessibility of websites and digital services
EU Directive 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies
Currently, the website is only partially compliant as several areas or components are yet to fully meet the WCAG criteria.

What we’re doing
We are implementing a series of tangible actions to improve the accessibility of our website:
- Audits and technical analyses
We have conducted a technical analysis on the various components of the site (e.g. buttons, filters, breadcrumbs, badges, images) to identify issues relating to colour contrast, alternative labels, visible focus and semantic structure.
- Design System
The findings are being integrated into our Design System to ensure consistency and future compliance of UI components.
- Corrections and implementations
We are updating the visual style of the website to resolve issues such as:
Insufficient contrast between text and background
Missing alternative texts for important images
Inconsistency in keyboard focus
Unassociated labels and descriptions in forms
- Verification and testing
Each update is validated using automated tools (e.g. WAVE) and manual usability tests. A testing phase using assistive technologies is also planned.
- Internal training
We are raising awareness and providing training to our teams responsible for text and visual content, development and UX/UI, to integrate accessibility as an essential part of the design process.
- Collection of feedback
We have activated a channel for collecting user feedback on the accessibility and usability of our website.
Feedback and assistance
We greatly value user opinions and reports, especially from those using assistive technologies, as they help us to improve.
If you encounter barriers or difficulties when using the website, please write to us at: accessibility@rothoblaas.com.
