BUILDING WITH TIMBER: SAFELY, ANYWHERE

Rothoblaas is an Italian multinational with Alpine roots and an active presence in more than 70 countries.
We design, manufacture and distribute high-tech solutions for timber construction, suitable for both prefabrication and on-site assembly: post-and-beam systems, timber frame, ventilated façades and safety devices.
Our timber construction offering includes solutions for fastening, airtightness, waterproofing, soundproofing, passive fire protection, safety at height, as well as machinery, equipment and technical consultancy.
We also support the use of hybrid construction systems, combining different materials to maximise their strengths and deliver efficient performance.
Our goal is simple: to improve performance, safety and installation times.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR EVERY STAGE OF THE PROJECT: BY PROFESSIONALS, FOR PROFESSIONALS
We work alongside engineers, designers, carpenters and installers at every stage of the project, from design through to installation.
Our construction solutions include:
• Mechanical and chemical fastening systems;
• Solutions for airtightness, waterproofing and vapour control;
• Solutions for soundproofing;
• Fall arresters;
• Professional tools and machinery;
• Technical support, training and design consultancy.
The HOLZ TECHNIC brand completes our offering with a dedicated range for distribution and technical hardware.

Rothoblaas was founded in 1991 by Robert Blaas. Peter Lang later joined the company, contributing to its growth and eventually becoming a partner.
The company grew rapidly thanks to a practical, technically focused approach driven by the real needs of timber construction. This vision continues to guide our strategic decisions, promoting a company culture built on autonomy, responsibility and expertise at both the organisational and individual level.
Our mission is to make the best timber construction solutions available worldwide, adapting them to different building systems and local market needs.
Our vision is to promote timber construction that is accessible, safe and efficient.
To achieve this, we follow an operational model based on the following values:
• continuous staff training and development;
• distributed and collaborative leadership;
• a strong focus on sustainability and workplace safety;
• integration of technical expertise with local insights.
Every Rothoblaas product is developed according to strict quality and environmental standards, tested in our own laboratories and backed by international certifications.
A network of warehouses and logistics centres in strategic locations allows us to ensure fast and reliable deliveries. Distribution is managed through subsidiaries and dedicated sales representatives. Every team member is trained in-house to provide technical and commercial support in line with company standards.
We manufacture a large part of our screw range for timber and hybrid buildings at our facility in Italy. In-house production allows us to strengthen distribution, speed up supply and ensure operational continuity for projects on a global scale.
Each Rothoblaas screw is marked with a unique code, enabling full batch traceability – from the raw material to manufacturing and distribution processes.
The quality of Rothoblaas solutions is confirmed by international certifications. All structural products carry the CE marking according to ETA or EN standards, while many others have been certified by accredited bodies.
Every production batch undergoes rigorous in-house testing at our Cortaccia headquarters to verify compliance with the geometric and mechanical requirements defined by our internal standards. Our entire management system is ISO 9001 certified.
Rothoblaas follows an industrial approach guided by economic, social and environmental responsibility, with clearly defined goals shared across all levels of the organisation.
Our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policy directs our business strategy towards responsible growth, with a focus on employee well-being and environmental protection.
The Cortaccia headquarters is a high energy-efficiency timber building, perfectly integrated into the surrounding natural landscape. The site includes 7000 m² of office space and an 11,700 m² fully timber self-supporting automated warehouse – one of the very few examples of its kind built anywhere in the world.
