BARRIER ALU NET SD1500
BARRIER ALU 1500 is the aluminised vapour barrier characterised by an extraordinary Sd value.
It consists of an aluminium layer, a polyethylene film and a reinforcement grid, it is designed for application on the inner side of the building envelope of timber structures. The membrane and joint have been tested according to ISO/TS 11665-13 for radon gas protection of the entire system.
Description
BARRIER ALU 1500, the vapour barrier that protects you against radon gas.
The BARRIER ALU 1500 vapour barrier membrane strongly limits the passage of water vapour from the hot to the cold side of timber structures, thus protecting them from the problems of interstitial condensation that can undermine the longevity of the structure.
The aluminised surface reflects heat by up to 70% when coupled with a ventilation chamber.
The membrane reduces the permeability of the building's perimeter and foundation structures, while minimising the presence of radon and eliminating health risks. Ideal for vapour flow control in very humid environments such as wellness centres, indoor swimming pools and industrial laundries, in order to safeguard stratigraphy.

Description
The application surface must be dry, free of dust and grease. Surface elements must be removed so that the membrane is not damaged during application.
The membrane includes a reinforcement mesh that provides high resistance to mechanical stresses caused by staples, nails, or wear when walked on.
Recommended use: direct UV protection is guaranteed. Installation is therefore permitted on both the internal and external sides of the building envelope.
Installation within the walls, floor, or roof of the building is required to effectively block moisture transmission through the structure. The membrane can also be used to prevent the passage of radon gas indoors and avoid its harmful effects on health.
The membrane has the capacity to reflect up to 70% of heat. The membrane is self-extinguishing and does not spread the flame in case of fire contributing to the protection of the structure.
Installation: Unroll the membrane and seal using tape such as: FLEXY BAND, FLEXY BAND UV, SPEEDY BAND, or EASY BAND.
Installation in compliance with the B-s1, d0 value: Unroll the membrane and seal using tape such as: MULTI BAND UV or type FRONT BAND UV 210.
Ensure that the overlap between the membranes is at least 15 cm to achieve an optimal seal.
To ensure correct and professional installation, the use of a nail sealing point is required.
Further details regarding installation can be found in the specific instructions provided by the supplier
