BITUMINOUS UNDERLAY CONTROL LAYER

BYTUM 1100

BYTUM 1100 is the bituminous underlay control layer that represents the first choice among the bitumen-based membranes of the Rothoblaas range, the perfect meeting point between price and performance. Extraordinarily resistant to abrasion thanks to its mass per unit area, it ensures high mechanical strength and waterproofing performance without compromising manageability.

BYTUM 1100, the bituminous underlay control layer that everyone agrees on.

The BYTUM 1100 bituminous underlay control layer is designed for installation on the external side of the roof. Thanks to its thickness, it effectively resists atmospheric agents of any intensity. It can also be used as a vapour control membrane on uneven surfaces such as concrete floors.

Indicazioni di posa per: PARETE

BYTUM 1100 is laid parallel to the dock beam or the floor if laid on a wall. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 15 centimetres. Each layer must be fixed to the substrate with a mechanical fastener. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). It is also advisable to overlap the sheets by at least 30 centimetres at the butt joints. In order to achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 231 or in the case of rough surfaces (such as rough OSB) FLEXI BAND, PRIMER SPAY, PRIMER .

Indicazioni di posa per: TETTO

BYTUM 1100 is placed parallel to the eaves line, starting from the lower edge of the roof. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 10-20 centimetres to the previous one (depending on the slope of the roof), as indicated on the layout according to UNI 11470:2013. The sheet must be applied on a continuous support with a mechanical fastening device. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). Once at the top of the roof, it is advisable for the membrane to protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres to ensure a perfect overlap with the strips of sheet that will overlap on the other side of the roof. It is also recommended that the sheets overlap by at least 30 cm even at the end joints. To achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 231.If there is an integrated double adhesive strip, it can replace the correct air and water sealing.
