DEFENCE ADHESIVE SPEEDY

SELF-ADHESIVE PROTECTIVE MEMBRANE WITHOUT RELEASE LINER

The lack of a release liner means less waste to dispose of.

With the self-adhesive surface of the membrane, installation is quick and easy. The protection of building elements is guaranteed for 12 weeks, and if an error is made during installation, the membrane can be easily repositioned and reapplied within the first few minutes.

The product, once applied, allows both the markings of the powder tracer on the panel and the mounting holes to be easily seen. The membrane protects the timber without interfering with either handling or site operations.

Description

The membrane can be used for temporary protection, rather than as a long-term functional layer, of construction elements (walls and floors) for a maximum duration of 12 weeks.

The application surface must be dry, free of dust and grease, and not be anti-adhesive. Surface elements must be removed so that the membrane is not damaged during application.

Once applied, the product allows for easy visibility of powder tracer markings and underlying mounting holes.

Recommended use: direct UV protection is guaranteed. Installation is therefore permitted on both the internal and external sides of the building envelope.

Installation: Unroll the membrane over the surface to be protected, applying pressure to ensure proper adhesion. In case of a mistake during installation, the membrane can be repositioned and reapplied without difficulty during the first few minutes.

The membrane features a silicone-coated surface that facilitates unrolling but may reduce adhesion at overlap areas. It is therefore recommended to apply a strip of a compatible self-adhesive membrane as a base layer at the overlaps. This ensures a secure and durable fastening of the joint.

Ensure that the overlap between the membranes is at least 15 cm to achieve an optimal seal.

Further details regarding installation can be found in the specific instructions provided by the supplier.
