SELF-ADHESIVE BITUMINOUS BAND, IT CAN BE PLASTERED

BYTUM BAND

The self-adhesive, plasterable bitumen band BYTUM BAND guarantees good adhesion even on concrete.

Polypropylene means the fabric can be plastered, offering greater versatility.

BYTUM BAND, THE SELF-ADHESIVE, PLASTERABLE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE

BYTUM BAND protects walls and foundation walls against rising damp over time.

Also suitable as a general sealing wall barrier or window/door node waterproofing product. Thanks to the special formulation of the bituminous compound, the membrane guarantees health safety with regard to emissions.

Specifications

Supply and installation of self-adhesive bituminous band, can be plastered, type BYTUM BAND

Composition:

Silicone paper release liner, glue black adhesive bituminous compound and support non-woven PP fabric

Properties:

  • Temperature resistance [°C] : -20/+80
  • Reaction to fire : classe B2
  • VOC emissions (COV) (% (class A+)) : 8 μg/m³
  • Application temperature [°C] : +5/+40

It can be applied on various smooth building substrates such as timber, OSB boards without additional surface treatment. The surfaces must be dry, free of dust and solvents such as grease or oil. We recommend the use of PRIMER for rough surfaces such as rough OSB boards. After the separation film has been partially separated, the tape can be applied easily and precisely at the corner point without further corrections. The sealing is completed by separating the remaining film and adhering the tape to the support. Once the tape has been applied, it is recommended to use the special roller RLL45 to obtain a perfect application.
