BYTUM BAND, THE SELF-ADHESIVE, PLASTERABLE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
BYTUM BAND protects walls and foundation walls against rising damp over time.
Also suitable as a general sealing wall barrier or window/door node waterproofing product. Thanks to the special formulation of the bituminous compound, the membrane guarantees health safety with regard to emissions.

Application surface
The application surface must be dry, free of dust and grease, and not be anti-adhesive. Surface elements must be removed so that the band is not damaged during application.

Recommended use
It protects walls and foundation walls against rising damp. Also suitable as a general damp-proof course barrier or window/door node waterproofing product.
The bituminous mixture guarantees good adhesion, even on concrete.
Installation
Unroll the membrane over the surface, progressively remove the release film from the adhesive, and press the membrane firmly to ensure proper adhesion.
Once membrane installation is complete, a pressure roller must be used to ensure perfect adhesion.
In cold climates, the adhesive side of the membrane can be preheated using a hot air gun, such as HOT GUN, to achieve optimal bonding.
