F70 is a concealed post base designed to accommodate post bases of all sizes. It is available in two versions: without holes, to be used with SBD self-drilling dowels; with holes, to be used with smooth dowels or bolts.

F70 concealed post base: pleasant aesthetic appearance and adaptability to columns of all sizes

The internal knife plate of the F70 post base is used to create a totally concealed joint, for a superior aesthetic appearance. F70 is a moment-resisting post base for the creation of fixed-end semi-constraints.

Depending on the fastening configuration used, different strength levels are obtained. The different fastening configurations are all calculated and certified according to ETA. F70 is resistant to compression, tension, shearing and moment.

For excellent durability, it can be integrated with F70 LIFT plate to generate a riser from the ground and protect the anchors from moisture. Made of hot dip bright zinc plated carbon steel, it is suitable for service classes 1, 2 and 3 and can be used on solid timber, glulam and LVL.
