SILENT FLOOR TEX
SILENT FLOOR TEX, made of recycled textile fibres, is a soundproofing sheet with an integrated vapour barrier and adhesive strip for quick and easy installation.
APPLICATIONS
- For soundproofing the floor but also for vertical partitions with supporting walls
- In combination with other products in the family, the insulation helps to reduce both structural and impact noise
Thanks to its polyethylene top layer, SILENT FLOOR TEX offers perfect protection in a construction site environment.
The theoretical estimate of the reduction in impact sound pressure level for SILENT FLOOR TEX is 29 dB.
Description
SILENT FLOOR TEX: for "green" soundproofing.
Composed of a polyethylene vapour barrier and a textile fibre felt made from pre-consumer industrial waste, SILENT FLOOR TEX is an environmentally friendly choice for soundproofing floors and horizontal or vertical partitions.
Its acoustic performance has been tested by the University of Bologna according to international standards for acoustic characterisation.
It does not contain substances harmful for people and the environment.

Description
Resilient underscreed foil designed to enhance impact noise insulation and increase the overall soundproofing performance of the finished floor slab. It features a vapour barrier bonded to a felt layer made from pre-consumer industrial textile waste.
The top polyethylene layer provides effective protection in construction site conditions, making the product fully waterproof and vapour-resistant.
The product is recyclable, rot-proof, insoluble in water, and non-irritating to skin, eyes, or respiratory system.
Installation is made easier by the integrated adhesive band, allowing immediate attaching of the selvedges to the overlaps.
Installation
It is typically used in new constructions, following the design and application principles of the “floating screed” system.
The resilient layer must be continuous because any discontinuation would represent an acoustic bridge. It is important to use a perimeter strip to ensure that the resilient layer is continuous around the entire perimeter of the room. The perimeter strip should only be trimmed after the floor has been installed and grouted.
The system must be installed in accordance with the instructions and warnings provided by the manufacturer to ensure compliance and long-term performance.
