HERMETIC FOAM
HERMETIC FOAM is a single-component polyurethane foam spray designed for soundproof and airtight seals. It cures quickly, delivering a clean and professional finish.
The foam can be cut after 20–40 minutes and is fully cured in about 60 minutes. Thanks to its low expansion, application is precise and controlled, making it ideal for window and door sealing.
The formulation ensures clean installation with no staining of the substrate and no flaking during application or in the long term. Once cured, the foam remains permanently flexible, adapting to the natural movements of building materials. It provides excellent adhesion to timber, concrete, metal, and other substrates, while remaining both waterproof and airtight even after trimming or cutting.
Description
HERMETIC FOAM also delivers high-level performance in acoustic and thermal insulation. It achieves an acoustic rating of 63 dB, while the closed-cell structure ensures long-term airtightness, waterproofing, and thermal insulation, even after curing, with a conductivity of 0.03–0.035 W/(m·K) or 00.017 - 0.02 BTU/h∙ft∙°F.
HERMETIC FOAM is ideal for indoor applications thanks to its low VOC content. For indoor use, the product is certified with EMICODE EC1 PLUS, the strictest standard for low VOC emissions, ensuring a healthy and safe environment.
Once cured, HERMETIC FOAM withstands temperatures from -40°C to +90°C | -40°F to +194°F, making it suitable for different construction sites and climates.
Available in 750 ml | 25 oz cartridges, it provides an excellent yield of about 40 liters | 11 gallons per can, minimising interruptions and improving on-site productivity.
What is polyurethane foam insulation and why choose HERMETIC FOAM?
Polyurethane foam insulation is a sealing and insulating material that provides airtightness, soundproofing, and thermal efficiency. Choosing HERMETIC FOAM guarantees fast curing, strong adhesion, and certified low VOC emissions, making it a reliable solution for both Indoor and Outdoor applications.
