RIGID AND FLEXIBLE RAIL FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR ROPE ACCESS WORK H-RAIL

MODULAR AND FLEXIBLE HORIZONTAL LIFELINE SYSTEMS FOR ROPE ACCESS WORK

The H-RAIL system is a safe and versatile rail fall protection system designed to create rigid horizontal and vertical lifelines with a minimal number of anchor points. Thanks to its modular design, the system can be configured as straight or curved lines to meet any project requirements. The rail can be custom curved with a minimum bend radius of 200 mm and bending angles from 90° to 180°.

The H-RAIL system is also ideal for suspended rope access work on building façades, ensuring long-term safety in highly complex settings.
The available sliding devices are designed to meet different operational requirements. Choosing the most suitable device allows operators to work safely on any rope access configuration.
The appearance can be customised through custom RAL colours and multi-colour anodising, ensuring harmonious integration into architectural structures.

Description

Technical performance and operational features of H-RAIL fall protection system

The H-RAIL system offers different performance levels depending on the type of work performed. For fall arrest applications, the spacing between support brackets can reach up to 6 metres and allows up to 4 operators to work simultaneously within the same span, improving efficiency on large construction sites.
For suspended rope access work, the maximum spacing between brackets is 2 metres, allowing up to 4 operators in total and 2 operators within the same span, maintaining suitable safety margins for this more demanding operational mode.

The possibility of custom curving the rail with specific angles from 90° to 180° and a minimum bend radius of 200 mm allows the rail fall protection system to adapt to complex façade geometries, curved roofs and irregular structures, significantly expanding its range of applications.
The availability of customisable RAL colours and anodised finishes enables seamless architectural integration of the rail fall protection anchors without compromising functionality. This is particularly important for public buildings and high-value projects where visual appearance matters.

Which rail fall protection system configuration should you choose for fall protection and rope access?

Choose the fall arrest configuration when operators move horizontally on surfaces exposed to fall hazards. This configuration allows bracket spacing up to 6 metres and supports 4 simultaneous operators to maximise productivity. Choose the suspended rope access configuration when operators remain suspended while working. This set-up allows spacing up to 2 metres with distributed loads for enhanced safety during prolonged rope access work on façades.
