With TITAN V, the angle brackets for timber concept is moved to a higher level: both small diameter connectors (such as LBA nails and LBS screws) and full thread VGS screws are used in a single bracket. The innovative design of the angle plate for timber makes it possible to exploit the ductility of small diameter connectors together with the strength and rigidity of full thread screws.

The TITAN V angle plates for timber are the perfect solution to the need for high shear and tensile strength in one solution. As a angle bracket for timber, the TITAN V is ideal for timber-to-timber connections both as a hold down at the ends of the walls and as shear angle bracket along the walls.

The reduced height of the vertical flange allows the angle brackets for timber to be integrated and concealed within the floor panels, for a concealed effect in the case of aesthetic requirements with visible panels. The TTV angle bracket provides exceptional tensile strength (R1,k over 100 kN) and shear strength (R2,k up to 60 kN). The values are calculated, tested and certified even with partial fastening and with interposed acoustic profiles.

Made of bright zinc plated carbon steel, TITAN V is excellent for creating shear or tensile timber-to-timber joints on CLT, LVL, solid timber and glulam.
