VGU PLATE T
VGU PLATE T is the plate for tensile loads that makes it simple to build portals, pergolas and gazebos. In combination with the VGU washer and VGS screws, it enables the transfer of moment stresses into the beam-column joints.
Description
VGU PLATE T, the two-dimensional perforated plate for tensile loads.
The moment joint is broken down into a tension action absorbed by the VGU PLATE T plate and a compression action absorbed by the wood or, alternatively, by the DISC FLAT concealed connector. Thanks to the use of VGS PLATE T screws arranged at 45°, the high tensile forces can be transferred.
The two-dimensional carbon steel perforated plate with galvanic zinc coating is equipped with slots for housing the VGU washers that allow the VGS screws to be inserted at 45°. Ideal for use with solid and laminated timber, CLT and LVL, it is suitable for use in service classes 1 and 2.
