Description

HBS PLATE EVO, the wood screw for fastening metal plates that is not sensitive to aggressive environments.

HBS PLATE EVO is the wood screw designed for fastening metal plates to timber in outdoor environments.

Its truncated cone-shaped head and greater thickness enable secure fastening of plates to timber. The small sizes (5,0 and 6,0 mm) are also suitable for timber-to-timber joints. HBS PLATE EVO is perfect for fastening Rothoblaas standard plates in outdoor environments. The 5 mm diameter version is also suitable for fastening patio deck planks.

The special 20 μm multilayer C4 EVO coating with a surface treatment of epoxy resin and aluminium flakes showed no rust after 1440 hours of salt spray exposure testing, according to ISO 9227.

Made of carbon steel, with a coating that is highly resistant to corrosion, it can be used in service class 3 outdoor applications and under class C4 atmospheric corrosion conditions.

HBS PLATE EVO is ideal for use with wood-based panels, solid timber, glulam, CLT, LVL, and high-density. Service classes 1, 2 and 3.
