The new LBA improved adhesion nails with knurled shanks have shear strength values among the highest on the market and allow design with characteristic nail strengths that more closely approximate actual experimental strengths. LBA nail values are tested and certified for plates on CLT substrates, and their use is also certified on LVL.

Description

LBA: the reliable improved adhesion nails with excellent performance.

The nail is also available in the LBA STRIP version, bound with the same certification from ETA and thus with the same very high performance. In bright zinc plated carbon steel or in A4 stainless steel, it is ideal for use with wood-based panels, fibre board and MDF panels, solid timber and glulam, CLT and LVL. Service classes 1 and 2 for the standard version; 1, 2 and 3 for the stainless steel version.

LBA nail strength values approximate much more closely to actual experimental strengths so that the design capacity can be performed more reliably, avoiding excessive underestimation of timber-side strength. The use with NINO angle brackets allows some of the most versatile applications: for example, even for beam-to-beam joints and achieves the highest performance together with the WKR angle bracket with the specific strength values on CLT.

Thanks to the LBA STRIP version, application with 34° and 25° stick nailguns is possible. The handheld palm nailer is available for loose nails, allowing them to be installed quickly.
