CONSTRUCTION SEALING

COMPRESSIBLE SEALING GASKET FOR REGULAR JOINTS

Perfect for plasterboard coating and configurations that require decoupling of elements to prevent airborne noise transmission. CONSTRUCTION SEALING has been tested within the Flanksound Project by Rothoblaas: it reduces up to 3 dB when used as an in-wall seal.

CLT EI 90
EN ISO 10848

Description

APPLICATIONS

  • Plasterboard coating
  • Dry floors

It is an extremely practical seal that allows sealing timber-to-timber joints both on site and during prefabrication.

Application surface

The application surface must be dry, free of dust and grease. Surface elements must be removed so that the gasket is not damaged during application.

Recommended use

Perfect for plasterboard coating and configurations that require decoupling of elements to prevent airborne noise transmission.

When used as a wall gasket, it provides up to 4 dB noise reduction.

The system has undergone experimental testing to assess fire resistance, achieving an EI 90 classification in accordance with the applicable standards.

Installation

Unroll the gasket and fix it to the substrate using a mechanical fastening device to ensure installation stability.
