PIANO
PIANO is the soundproofing material that reduces vibrations and provides good acoustic comfort, both in lightweight floors and in more complex, high-load buildings.
Certified according to ETA, it is available in 5 versions covering use on a wide range of loads, from floating floors to multi-storey buildings.
Some versions are pre-cut to obtain more widths with the same product. PIANO is identifiable by different geometries and colours that identify the applicable loads.
APPLICATIONS
- Lightweight slabs, timber frame and massive structures such as CLT or LVL
- It can be applied with PRIMER SPRAY or DOUBLE BAND even on battens
With its expanded and extruded EPDM compound, PIANO is a soundproofing material that provides acoustic improvement values of more than 4 dB.
Description
CHARACTERISTICS
- The elastic EPDM mixture can compensate for timber and structure expansion
- Anti-vibration: PIANO dampens vibrations in both static and dynamic conditions due to its ability to absorb and dissipate the energy of the system.
- High long-term durability, chemical and UV stability
- Available in 5 versions, some pre-cut, varying in colour and acoustic loads
- The compact cross-section makes it more stable when crushed
- Does not contain VOCs
- After a stringent regulatory process, it has been tested and certified according to ETA-23/0193
To know the influence of PIANO in the presence of screws and nails and tests on timber-to-timber joints.

Description
Resilient soundproofing profile, effective in reducing vibrations in both lightweight floors and complex buildings with high loads. Made from expanded and extruded EPDM compound, it provides excellent soundproofing performance. Its elasticity compensates for timber and structural expansion, while the compact section ensures high resistance to compression. It acts as an anti-vibration element by absorbing and dissipating system energy, both in static and dynamic conditions. VOC-free and UV-resistant.
Installation
Suitable for installation on lightweight floors, timber frame systems, and massive structures such as CLT and LVL. It can also be applied to steel and concrete using a product such as PRIMER SPRAY or DOUBLE BAND double-sided adhesive tape. To minimise vibration transfer throughout the structure, it is recommended to install the resilient profile both above and below the floor slab.
It can also be used in dry floor systems, applied to the underside and/or top side of battens. Further details regarding installation can be found in the specific instructions provided by the supplier.
