SILENT GIPS

THERMAL-ACOUSTIC DECOUPLING TAPE FOR PLASTERBOARD STRUCTURES

SILENT GIPS provides complete acoustic decoupling of plasterboard walls and counter walls, preventing the transmission of vibrations to structural elements.

The closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene ensures that the tape does not flatten and is long-lasting.

APPLICATIONS

Thanks to the pre-cut and removable film, the tape adapts to different configurations of plasterboard walls and counterwalls.

It is double-sided: installation with the metal frame is easy and immediate.

Description

Double-sided thermal-acoustic tape made of closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene, used for the acoustic decoupling of partition walls and wall linings in plasterboard constructions. It prevents the transmission of vibrations to structural elements and retains its performance over time thanks to its closed-cell structure, which resists permanent deformation. The pre-cut silicone coated liner allows for adaptation to various configurations. Does not contain harmful substances.

Installation

The application surface must be dry, free of dust and grease, and not be anti-adhesive. Surface elements must be removed so that the membrane is not damaged during application.

The double-sided tape, equipped with a pre-cut removable film, enables quick and easy installation on metal frames, without the need for additional adhesives. Further details on installation methods can be found in the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer.
