Description
SILENT STEP, which has the functions of an underfloor soundproofing mat, reduces impact noise. It is an acoustic improvement product and a vapour barrier at the same time. It provides good soundproofing and waterproofing because of its chemical and mechanical properties.
The surface polyethylene film prevents the passage of humidity, protecting the floor with an Sd value of more than 75 m. The material, thickness and coating make it suitable for installation with various floating floors.
It is chemically stable and does not contain harmful substances or VOCs.

Description
High-density polyethylene insulating mat with vapour barrier function, specifically designed to reduce impact noise and enhance the soundproofing of floor slabs. The resilient layer acts as an acoustic underfloor, improving housing comfort in the presence of floating flooring systems (not suitable for use with glued floors).
The product is made of high-density NPE expanded polyethylene, topped with a polyethylene film offering excellent resistance to water vapour. The film extends beyond the edge of the mat to facilitate overlapping and sealing between rolls, with an integrated adhesive seam.
The surface film acts as a vapour barrier, preventing moisture penetration and protecting the flooring.
The product is chemically stable, free from harmful substances, and emits no VOCs.
Installation
Surface elements must be removed so that the membrane is not damaged during application.
It is also compatible with underfloor heating systems.
The integrated adhesive seam ensures quick and precise installation, guaranteeing continuity of the layer without the need for additional sealing.
