SILENT STEP SOFT

The SILENT STEP SOFT closed-cell substrate is the solution for sound insulation ideal for laying under floating floors, also in the presence of an underfloor heating system.

SILENT STEP SOFT improves the mechanical stability and the soundproofing performance of floors.

Reliability and convenience: discover the soundproofing of SILENT STEP SOFT, the under floor material for insulating floors against footstep noises.

Thanks to the closed-cell polyethylene structure, SILENT STEP SOFT cannot be irreversibly crushed, remaining effective and keeping its sound insulation properties over time.

The high-density polyethylene coating makes it waterproof and appropriate for a great variety of applications.

Suitable for timber-to-timber installation to create a physical and mechanical separation between the two elements, thus avoiding the transmission of vibrations caused by impact sound. To increase the vibration absorption capacity, it is advisable to install the profile both below and above the timber floor. Install the profile on the upper section of the wall and fix it mechanically with staples every 40/60 cm. Then install the horizontal panel of the floor and repeat the operation.
