AESTHETICS AND DURABILITY FOR EXTERNAL STRUCTURES
The concealed fastening of R10 and R20 to the timber element is achieved through the use of screws and a top plate. It is fixed to the ground by means of anchors on a lower plate. The lower plate has an auxiliary hole to allow the screws to be fastened to timber by means of long bits.
In terms of static strength, the large models ensure high compressive strengths; to ensure high tensile strengths as well, VGS EVO full thread screws can be used.
Carefully designed and durable, R10 and R20 are made of carbon steel with Dac Coat coating, which makes them suitable for outdoor use in service classes 1, 2 and 3. They can be used with both solid timber and glulam.
The height adjustment capability of Rothoblaas R10 and R20 post bases allows precise adaptation to the specific needs of each project, simplifying installation even on uneven surfaces.
